Today we are living in a technological world where information flow in micro seconds to make or break any human being or organization as well as organisation running cooperate entities from different part of the globe.
When we think what is a generation, it is a group of individuals born around the same time and grow together in different cultures with some basic characteristic, preferences, and values over their life time.
(The Center for Generational Kinetics, believe`s that generations are not a box); instead, they are powerful clues showing where to begin connecting with and influencing people of different ages.
Thirty years ago before every person had technology in their hands or at home, families use to act and teach base on their culture within the community, church, other groups and family belief`s in handing down cultural inheritance generation to generation.
If we look at how generations of the 1960`s, 70`s, and 80`s connected culturally and physically via marriages and jobs was base on a paper trail system where as letter will be exchanged regularly between parties living within two different side of the globe awaiting correspondent ever so often via the postal system, teletext and messenger or a combination of all depends on the country.
As generation changed so did the characteristics, thought processes, expectations and the preferences in each generation shaped around the development of the flow and communication of information at a rapid speed and processes such as hand held devices which placed a different prospective view in the minds of those who were born in the 60`s,70`s and 80`s, sometimes the feeling is similar to being at the age of 100 years and being left behind, where as that generation would of gathered information from hard cover books to attain a degree, Doctorate or any other handle to their name in difference today`s generation of 2017 can attain a doctorate or an desired handle to their name.
One thing that the older generation have not come to term with is that they have valuable information stored within their information library that cannot be gotten unless ask by the relevant personnel wanting to learn more than what is placed within a system because we know that information via the world wide web are loaded by human being base on research learning and experience and time pass and generation changes so those information change.
I have learned that reaching or achieving your goals in life is not about being from another generation but being a different generation with knowledge and experience to past on via the information highway and don`t be as those who kept their knowledge and left this world without parting with it via letters, books or other means of documentation, meaning to say those who has gone with information is none avoid because it would not be relevant without it being written somewhere or recorded by other person.
So let us all be a different generation to make a difference in a new generation.
